A single check box on the New Accounts opening screen will allow you to set up a simple overdraft protection. Within overdraft, Single Source will automatically setup a new loan (with the same account number as the deposit account) as soon as necessary. G/L updates will be accurate: increasing loans as apposed to a negative deposit balance which would be unfavorable to the FI. The interest rate of the loan account can be completely defined by the FI.
